Stephen is the Business Proprietor, continuing Roger Bowers' legacy of outstanding high standards of customer care and the attention to detail that W. Bowers is renowned for.

Born and living in Harrogate, Funeral Director Michael, comes to W. Bowers from a career in the construction industry, with many years of experience working with the public. His hands-on practical approach, blended with his caring, sympathetic attitude, make him a valuable asset to the W. Bowers team.

Ella, from Harrogate, brings a modern, friendly and bright approach as a Funeral Director at W. Bowers. Having also worked as a carer, Ella's compassionate nature shines through, ensuring that she goes above and beyond to help those in need. 

Andrea has played an integral and valuable role as Funeral Consultant within the business for many years now. Her knowledge and expertise, alongside her impeccable attention to detail ensures that everything always runs smoothly here at W. Bowers.  

 Chris grew up in Knaresborough and Harrogate. He has had business ventures in Europe and joined W. Bowers 30 years ago.  He has built the company as you see it today alongside his great friend Roger Bowers, maintaining the image, philosophy of care, and attention to detail, introducing our new approach with traditional values we see now and into the future. 

With much sadness, we announce the passing of Roger Bowers. Together with his mother and father, Roger was the founder of W. Bowers Funeral Directors, Hampsthwaite and Harrogate. He touched thousands of lives with his empathy, compassion, and care. His decades of knowledge and experience have been an inspiration to us all. We will miss him dearly.
