Green Funerals

The term "Green Funerals" generally refers to a meadow or woodland burial. Complimented by the use of a coffin made from biodegradable materials i.e. willow or chipboard. The green funeral option continues to grow in popularity and there are now many woodland burial sites all over the country. The environment of green burial grounds are kept as wild and as natural as possible. Memorials and headstones are generally not permitted, but often memorial trees can be planted to mark the grave.

The dignity of any service is not compromised by these arrangements and indeed the simplicity of the service can add a certain something.

There are many green funeral sites, each with different fees, and so we cannot display a set price for a green funeral. For more information regarding options and pricing for green funerals please get in touch.

*Repatriation outside the Harrogate District (over 15 miles) extra £1.50 per mile.

Out of hours attendance will incur an additional charge of £190. (Bank Holiday £250)
